Un graffeur dans la ville
En Guadeloupe les murs décrépis et dents creuses ne sont pas rares et ternissent le paysage urbain de l’île. L'artiste et graffeur guadeloupéen Macfa réalise une fresque sur un mur décrépi pour contribuer à embellir et améliorer le cadre de vie à Baie-Mahault. Cette initiative, comme celle de ses collègues graffeurs, repose sur une volonté personnelle et bénévole après avoir pris contact avec les propriétaires de ces murs. Une initiative chaleureusement accueillie par les habitants qui redécouvrent leur quartier avec un regard curieux et nouveau.
A graffiti artist in the city
In Guadeloupe, decrepit walls and hollow spaces are not uncommon and tarnish the island's urban landscape. Guadeloupean artist and graffiti artist Macfa is creating a fresco on a decrepit wall to help beautify and improve the living environment in Baie-Mahault. This initiative, like that of his fellow graffiti artists, is based on a personal and voluntary commitment, after having contacted the owners of the walls, and has been warmly welcomed by the residents, who are rediscovering their neighborhood with a new and curious outlook.
