MEMOIRE | JOURNEE NATIONALE DU SOUVENIR DES VICTIMES ET DES HEROS DE LA DEPORTATION

Comme tous les derniers dimanches d'avril était célébré la Journée Nationale du Souvenir des Victimes et des Héros de la Déportation. Cette journée de commémoration s'est déroulée en plusieurs temps et en présence, ce dimanche 27 avril 2025, de Patricia Miralles, Ministre déléguée au Ministre des Armées, chargée de la Mémoire et des Anciens combattants.
Cette journée de commémoration s'est déroulée en 4 temps :
Premier temps fort : Cérémonie au Mémorial de la Shoah situé rue Geoffrey L'Asnier avec le dépot de gerbe devant le monument en hommages aux victimes de la déportation par la Ministre, les associations mémorielles et par les élus de Paris. S'en est suivi un moment de recueillement dans la crypte du Mémorial.Deuxième temps fort de l'après midi : Déambulation jusqu'au mémorial des Martyrs situé sur l'Île de la Cité puis discours et dépôt de gerbe par la Ministre.Troisième temps fort : Marche intergénérationnelle pour la Mémoire et la Transmission organisée en présence de survivants de la Shoah, pour rejoindre l'hôtel Lutetia; lieu de commémoration où les rescapés des camps ont été emmenés à leur retour en France.Dernier temps fort : Ravivage de la flamme du Soldat Inconnu et dépôt de fleurs.
MEMORY | NATIONAL DAY OF REMEMBRANCE FOR THE VICTIMS AND HEROES OF DEPORTATION

As on every last Sunday in April, National Day of Remembrance for the Victims and Heroes of the Deportation was celebrated. This day of commemoration took place in several stages and was attended on Sunday, April 27, 2025, by Patricia Miralles, Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Armed Forces, responsible for Remembrance and Veterans.
This day of commemoration took place in four stages:
First highlight: Ceremony at the Shoah Memorial on Rue Geoffrey L'Asnier with the laying of wreaths in front of the monument in tribute to the victims of deportation by the Minister, memorial associations, and elected officials from Paris. This was followed by a moment of silence in the crypt of the Memorial.The second highlight of the afternoon was a walk to the Martyrs' Memorial on the Île de la Cité, followed by a speech and wreath laying by the Minister.The third highlight was an intergenerational march for remembrance and transmission, organized in the presence of Holocaust survivors, to the Hôtel Lutetia, the place of commemoration where the survivors of the camps were taken upon their return to France.The final highlight was the rekindling of the flame of the Unknown Soldier and the laying of flowers.
