Crossing Over
Being in the mountains feels like coming home. I received my first camera during the summer of 1987 and my first photos are of these mountain ranges. I use an old analog camera issued in 1987 for this ongoing project as a throw back to those days. I focus on the enormity of the geology and how, throughout time, man has created paths and refuges amongst these difficult landscapes for the sole purpose of making the discovery, and the crossing of them, possible. It is one of the beautiful legacies of man.
