This 20-image series documents the daily aerial ballet at Paris-CDG. Aircraft from Air France, MEA, ITA Airways and other carriers are photographed on short final or during taxi, from the fields and fences lining the runways. Winter light, cloud-filled skies and close-cropped grass create an atmosphere that is both contemplative and dynamic. The photographer's eye turns a place of transit into a landscape in its own right, where the lines of the fuselages echo those of the horizon.
