PATRIMOINE | À Grenoble, l'emblématique tour Perret se refait une beauté
Plus de 80 mètres de haut, une architecture unique, une vue imprenable sur la ville de Grenoble et les massifs environnants : la Tour Perret est l'un des symboles de Grenoble. Cette tour d’observation construite en 1924 et 1925 pour l’Exposition internationale de la Houille Blanche, était en son temps la plus haute tour en béton armé au monde. Fermée au public depuis 1960, elle va rouvrir ses portes au cours du printemps 2026 après un grand chantier de restauration initié il y a deux ans.
HERITAGE | In Grenoble, the iconic Perret Tower is getting a makeover
Over 80 metres high, with unique architecture and breathtaking views of the city of Grenoble and the surrounding mountains, the Perret Tower is one of Grenoble's landmarks. Built in 1924 and 1925 for the International White Coal Exhibition, this observation tower was once the tallest reinforced concrete tower in the world. Closed to the public since 1960, it will reopen in spring 2026 after a major restoration project that began two years ago.
