MUNICIPALES | Laurence Ruffin veut conquérir Grenoble, sa « ville de coeur »
La dirigeante d'entreprise Laurence Ruffin se lance dans l'aventure politique pour la première fois en candidatant dans la capitale des Alpes, où elle vit depuis plus de vingt ans. Partie avec le costume de favorite et en tête des sondages, la soeur du député de la Somme François Ruffin, soutenue notamment par les Écologistes et les Socialistes, devra cependant batailler pour succéder à Éric Piolle.
Dans son sillage, elle retrouvera neuf autres candidats, dont l'ancien maire de droite de la cité iséroise Alain Carignon, qui rêve de reprendre la mairie à la gauche plus de quarante ans après sa première élection et trente après sa première condamnation. Jeudi 5 février, à quelques semaines du scrutin, la candidate a dévoilé sa liste et son programme au Palais des sports de Grenoble, entourée de ses sympathisants.

The business leader Laurence Ruffin is embarking on her first political adventure by running for office in the capital of the Alps, where she has lived for more than twenty years. Starting out as the favourite and leading in the polls, the sister of François Ruffin, MP for the Somme, who is supported in particular by the Greens and the Socialists, will nevertheless have to fight hard to succeed Éric Piolle.
She will be joined by nine other candidates, including the former right-wing mayor of the Isère city, Alain Carignon, who dreams of taking back the town hall from the left more than forty years after his first election and thirty years after his first conviction. On Thursday 5 February, a few weeks before the election, the candidate unveiled her list and her programme at the Palais des Sports in Grenoble, surrounded by her supporters.
