On 15 and 22 March, the residents of Grenoble will be called to the polls to elect a new mayor. The winner will succeed environmentalist Éric Piolle, who announced that he would not seek re-election after two terms as mayor.
With two months to go before the first round, eight of the ten declared candidates presented their visions for cultural policy during a debate held on Wednesday 14 January 2026.
