AGRICULTURE | Les éleveurs bovins bloquent Grenoble contre le « dogme du libre-échange »
Trois semaines après avoir investi un rond-point de Voreppe, située une vingtaine de kilomètres de Grenoble, pour y tenir un barrage filtrant, les agriculteurs se sont à nouveau donné rendez-vous mercredi 7 janvier 2026 sur cette commune de la proche banlieue grenobloise pour manifester leur mécontentement face au traité du Mercosur et la gestion gouvernementale de l'épidémie de dermatose nodulaire bovine.
À l'appel de la Confédération paysanne, ils se sont rassemblés entre Vercors et Chartreuse pour bloquer la circulation, puis mener une opération escargot entre Voreppe et Grenoble, jusqu'aux portes de la Direction départementale des Territoires (DDT).
« Nous continuons de demander (...) un changement radical de la politique sanitaire de l’État, un véritable droit au revenu pour l’ensemble des paysans et de leurs travailleurs : sortons du dogme du libre-échange qui empêche la relocalisation de notre agriculture et impose ces politiques sanitaires au profit seul des exportateurs », a souligné la Confédération paysanne.

Three weeks after occupying a roundabout in Voreppe, located about 20 kilometres from Grenoble, to set up a roadblock, farmers gathered again on Wednesday 7 January 2026 in this town on the outskirts of Grenoble to express their dissatisfaction with the Mercosur treaty and the government's handling of the bovine nodular dermatosis epidemic.
At the call of the Confédération Paysanne farmers' union, they gathered between Vercors and Chartreuse to block traffic, then carried out a slow-moving protest between Voreppe and Grenoble, ending at the gates of the Departmental Directorate for Territories (DDT).
« We continue to demand (...) a radical change in the government's health policy, a genuine right to income for all farmers and their workers: let's move away from the dogma of free trade, which prevents the relocation of our agriculture and imposes these health policies for the sole benefit of exporters », emphasised the Confédération paysanne.
