INDUSTRIE | Salariés et syndicats de Vencorex fustigent la cession de l'usine à la Chine
La reprise de l’usine chimique Vencorex, placée en redressement judiciaire depuis septembre 2024, a été attribuée jeudi 10 avril par le tribunal de commerce de Lyon au groupe chinois Wanhua, via sa filiale hongroise BorsodChem, qui a proposé une reprise partielle des ateliers de production et ne gardera qu'une cinquantaine d’emplois sur les 450 que compte le site.
Rassemblés devant l'entrée de l'usine, salariés, syndicats, entrepreneurs et élus qui portaient un autre projet de reprise ont exprimé leur colère et pointé la « capitulation » de l'État dans ce dossier.

On Thursday April 10, the Lyon Commercial Court awarded the takeover of the Vencorex chemical plant, which has been in receivership since September 2024, to the Chinese group Wanhua, via its Hungarian subsidiary BorsodChem. Wanhua proposed a partial takeover of the production workshops, and will keep only around 50 of the 450 jobs on the site.
Gathered in front of the factory entrance, employees, unions, contractors and elected representatives who were behind another takeover project expressed their anger and pointed to the “capitulation” of the French government in this matter.
