Expropriations, artificialisation des sols, nuisances sonores ou encore menaces sur l'eau et l'équilibre de la biodiversité : dans la vallée de la Maurienne, qui s'étire en Savoie entre Montmélian et Modane, les conséquences de l'implantation des chantiers de la future ligne ferroviaire Lyon-Turin sont nombreuses et irréversibles.
Pour alerter le grand public des impacts sur ce territoire isolé et ses habitants, plusieurs collectifs d'opposants, qui luttent main dans la main pour dénoncer un projet « pharaonique et mensonger », proposent chaque trimestre aux citoyens d'aller constater de leurs propres yeux l'ampleur des dégâts causés par l'avancement des travaux et de prendre la mesure des enjeux qui entourent la création de cette ligne engageant plusieurs dizaine de milliards d'euros d'argent public.

To alert the general public to the impact on this isolated region and its inhabitants, several groups of opponents, who are denouncing a « pharaonic and misleading » project, are offering citizens the chance each quarter to see for themselves the extent of the damage caused by the progress of the work, and to appreciate the issues surrounding the creation of this line, which will involve several dozen billion euros of public money.
