Duplomb dans l'aile du Conseil constitutionnel
Le 8 août 2025, après un été marqué par une levée de boucliers citoyenne face au votre de la Loi Duplomb, le Conseil constitutionnel a décidé de censurer partiellement cette loi.
Plus de 2 millions de français ont signé en ligne une pétition exprimant leur opposition à la réintroduction, notamment, de certains néonicotinoïdes dits "tueurs d'abeilles".
S'appuyant sur la Charte de l'environnement, le conseil des sages s'est positionné contre cette potentielle réintroduction d'un pesticide néfaste à l'environnement, mais aussi susceptible de provoquer la multiplication de cancers chez les agriculteurs notamment.
Une décision inattendue qui rassure les associations telles que Cancer Colère, menée par sa fondatrice Fleur Breteau, atteinte d'une cancer et militante contre la loi Duplomb.
The Constitutional Council censures the Duplomb law
On August 8, 2025, after a summer marked by widespread public opposition to the Duplomb Law, the Constitutional Council decided to partially censor this law.
More than 2 million French citizens signed an online petition expressing their opposition to the reintroduction of certain neonicotinoids known as “bee killers.”
Based on the Environmental Charter, the council of elders took a stand against the potential reintroduction of a pesticide that is harmful to the environment and also likely to cause an increase in cancer among farmers in particular.
This unexpected decision has reassured associations such as Cancer Colère, led by its founder Fleur Breteau, who has cancer and is an activist against the Duplomb law.
