Créé en 2018, le Festival International du Film Politique de Carcassonne a pour vocation d'apporter un regard aiguisé et engagé aux spectateurs et citoyens. Autour de la passion du 7ème art, réalisateurs, producteurs, acteurs et spectateurs se croisent et se rencontrent dans des projections de longs et courts métrages internationaux.
Au coeur de la cité médiévale de Carcassonne, ce festival veut célébrer celles et ceux qui écrivent, réalisent, produisent, participent à faire exister un cinéma qui interpelle, questionne et bouscule.
Porté également par une importante équipe de bénévoles, le FIFP est un moteur d'engagement à tous les niveaux.
Du 16 au 20 janvier 2025, la Cité vibre au son des questionnements et réflexions collectives.

Created in 2018, the Carcassonne International Political Film Festival aims to provide audiences and citizens with a sharp, committed perspective. Around the passion of the 7th art, directors, producers, actors and spectators meet and mingle in screenings of international feature-length and short films.
In the heart of the medieval city of Carcassonne, this festival celebrates all those who write, direct, produce and participate in making cinema that challenges, questions and shakes things up.
Supported by a large team of volunteers, the FIFP is a driving force for commitment at every level.
From 16 to 20 January 2025, the Cité will vibrate to the sound of collective questioning and reflection.
