THE CONVERGENCE OF SOCIAL MOVEMENTS
Following a call from the secondary school student movements and the Yellow Vests, several demonstrations bringing together different social movements took place, as well as a concert at Place de la République, with marches heading towards Bastille, Place de Clichy and the Champs-Élysées in Paris, France, on 17 October 2026. School pupils, parents, and sometimes grandparents and musicians gathered in the street to call for greater social justice and vigilance in the face of police violence.
