Moldavie : Un choix de société aux urnes
Chișinău, 28 septembre 2025 – Les élections législatives moldaves cristallisent l'affrontement entre deux visions antagonistes pour l'avenir du pays. D'un côté, le Parti d'Action et de Solidarité (PAS) pro-européen de la présidente Maia Sandu, vainqueur avec 48,2% des voix Élections en Moldavie : le parti pro-européen PAS devance largement le Bloc patriotique pro-russe. De l'autre, les forces socialistes et pro-russes qui défendent un retour aux liens traditionnels avec Moscou.

Moldova: A choice for society at the polls
Chișinău, September 28, 2025 – Moldova's parliamentary elections crystallize the clash between two opposing visions for the country's future. On one side is President Maia Sandu's pro-European Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS), which won with 48.2% of the vote. Elections in Moldova: the pro-European PAS party is well ahead of the pro-Russian Patriotic Bloc. On the other side are the socialist and pro-Russian forces, which advocate a return to traditional ties with Moscow.
With a turnout of around 52%, the pro-European party is well ahead in the Moldovan parliamentary elections. Radio-Canada reports that the election is taking place in an explosive context: war in neighboring Ukraine, accusations of massive Russian interference.
