Le 10ème Marathon International de Palestine s'est tenu à Bethléem après deux ans d'absence en raison de la guerre à Gaza. Plus de 13.000 coureurs Palestiniens et Internationaux on participé aux différentes courses qui avaient pour thème la liberté de mouvement et l'unité. Les coureurs du marathon et du semi marathon se sont élancés dès 6h30 du matin devant l'Eglise de la Nativité et ont suivi un parcours longeant notamment le mur de séparation israélien. Les coureurs du marathon ont été contraints d'effectuer leur parcours de 42,195 km en répétant deux fois la même boucle en raison des contraintes liées aux checkpoints et routes fermées limitant les déplacements des Palestiniens. Deux courses parallèles et simultanées étaient par ailleurs organisée à Gaza et virtuellement.

The 10th Palestine International Marathon was held in Bethlehem after a two-year interruption due to the war in Gaza. More than 13,000 Palestinian and international runners participated in the various races, which focused on the themes of freedom of movement and unity. Marathon and half-marathon runners set off at 6:30 a.m. in front of the Church of the Nativity and followed a course that ran alongside, among other places, the Israeli separation wall. Marathon runners were forced to complete their 42.195 km course by repeating the same loop twice due to checkpoint and road closures restricting Palestinian movement. Two parallel and simultaneous races were also organized in Gaza and virtually.
