Le Réseau Echouage Oiseaux Marins Atlantique (REOMA) a comptabilisé plusieurs centaines d'oiseaux marins morts échoues sur la côte atlantique, essentiellement des macareux et des guillemots, sans doute morts de faim et d'épuisements après la succession de tempêtes qui frappent la Bretagne depuis le mois de janvier.
