Pushkar fair 2019

With tourism, photography has developed, now omnipresent in the festival and made accessible with smartphones and digital cameras.
The promise of "authentic" shots attracts many photographers, both professional and improvised, many of whom are ready to put their hands to the pocket to leave with the dream photo, an opportunity that the locals have been able to exploit. In the middle of the camels a business has developed between photographers and local women and children who often spontaneously propose to be photographed. A mercantile relationship free of complexes that makes everything possible: rudeness, authority, photographs of naked children...
