La Compagnie Allongée à Bordeaux : immersion dans Le Culte du Freeze
La Compagnie Allongée a fait escale à Bordeaux pour présenter Le Culte du Freeze, un spectacle envoûtant mêlant breaking et contorsion, chorégraphié par Arnaud Deprez. J’ai eu le privilège de les suivre durant l’entraînement, la préparation et la représentation, capturant chaque instant de cette performance hors du commun, aussi bien sur scène que dans les backstages.
En breakdance, le freeze est cette suspension du mouvement, un instant figé où la figure semble défier la gravité. Dans Le Culte du Freeze, cet état de pause devient un véritable rite méditatif, où les corps sculptés des danseurs ralentissent jusqu’à frôler la lévitation.
Le trio évolue en parfaite harmonie avec les lois de la géométrie sacrée, s’alignant aux équerres, règles et compas géants conçus sur mesure. Les corps se plient, se tordent et se figent dans des figures extrêmes, explorant l’équilibre parfait entre puissance et sérénité.
Pour accompagner ces torsions méditatives, @link_le_neil signe une bande-son aérienne, rythmée par des beats accordés à 432 Hz, la fréquence de la Terre, créant une symbiose entre la gestuelle et les vibrations du monde.
Dans les coulisses, j’ai immortalisé ces instants d’intimité et de concentration avant l’entrée en scène : l’échauffement minutieux, les derniers ajustements, l'équipe de techniciens qui s'affairent… Autant de fragments précieux qui racontent l’envers du décor et l’engagement total des artistes.
Une expérience hypnotique où danse et spiritualité se rencontrent, à la croisée du mouvement et du silence.

Compagnie Allongée made a stopover in Bordeaux to present Le Culte du Freeze, a spellbinding show combining breaking and contortion, choreographed by Arnaud Deprez. I had the privilege of following their training, preparation and performance, capturing every moment of this extraordinary performance, both on stage and backstage.
In breakdance, the freeze is that suspension of movement, a frozen moment when the figure seems to defy gravity. In Le Culte du Freeze, this state of pause becomes a veritable meditative rite, where the dancers' sculpted bodies slow down to the point of near levitation.
The trio evolves in perfect harmony with the laws of sacred geometry, aligning themselves with giant, custom-designed squares, rulers and compasses. Bodies bend, twist and freeze in extreme figures, exploring the perfect balance between power and serenity.
To accompany these meditative twists, @link_le_neil created an ethereal soundtrack, punctuated by beats tuned to 432 Hz, the frequency of the Earth, creating a symbiosis between the gestures and the vibrations of the world.
Backstage, I immortalized those moments of intimacy and concentration before going on stage: the meticulous warm-up, the final adjustments, the glances exchanged in the tension of the moment... So many precious fragments that tell the story behind the scenes and the total commitment of the artists.
