Signature du contrat pour l'autoroute M28 entre Cork et Ringaskiddy
Le conseil du comté de Cork a signé un contrat de 206 millions d'euros avec BAM pour la construction de l'autoroute M28 de 11 km reliant Cork à Ringaskiddy, dans le cadre d'un projet de 456 millions d'euros. Les travaux commenceront bientôt et s'achèveront d'ici l'été 2028.
Financée par le ministère des transports via Transport Infrastructure Ireland, l'autoroute soutiendra la relocalisation du port de Cork à Ringaskiddy, améliorera l'accès aux zones d'emploi et renforcera l'efficacité du trafic.
Le Premier Ministre Micheál Martin, le ministre des transports Darragh O'Brien et le ministre Jerry Buttimer ont assisté à la signature, soulignant le soutien du gouvernement aux infrastructures régionales.
M28 Cork to Ringaskiddy Motorway contract signing
Cork County Council has signed a €206 million contract with BAM to construct the 11km M28 Cork to Ringaskiddy Motorway, part of a €456 million project. Work will begin soon and finish by summer 2028.
Funded by the Department of Transport via Transport Infrastructure Ireland, the motorway will support the Port of Cork’s relocation to Ringaskiddy, improve access to employment zones, and enhance traffic efficiency.
Taoiseach Micheál Martin, Transport Minister Darragh O’Brien, and Minister Jerry Buttimer attended the signing, highlighting government support for regional infrastructure.
