Cette fragilité s'accentue au sud du pays, où les conséquences du conflit en Iran perturbent des routes commerciales vitales, aggravant l’isolement de ce territoire enclavé et largement dépendant de son voisin.
À l’intérieur, la société arménienne est marquée par de nombreuses divisions. La jeunesse, en particulier, cherche sa place. Si certains choisissent l'exil, d’autres se préparent militairement à l'éventualité d'un nouveau conflit.

Armenia, a country facing challenges
With the June parliamentary elections approaching, Armenia is at a pivotal moment. Still reeling from the loss of Nagorno-Karabakh and concerned about the risk of a new war with Azerbaijan, the country is seeing its historic ties with Russia weaken as it moves closer to the United States and Europe.
This fragility is particularly acute in the south of the country, where the fallout from the conflict in Iran is disrupting vital trade routes, exacerbating the isolation of this landlocked region that is heavily dependent on its neighbor.
Domestically, Armenian society is marked by numerous divisions. Young people, in particular, are searching for their place in society. While some choose exile, others are preparing militarily for the possibility of a new conflict.
