Les Biennales Internationales du Spectacle évènement majeur de l'Art vivant créé en 2004, s'est ouvert ce 21 janvier 2026 à la Cité des Congrès de Nantes dans un contexte politique et budgétaire tendu en présence de nombreux élus et Personnes publiques mais en l'absence de Chrystelle Morancais Présidente de la région Pays de la Loire qui avait retiré son soutien financier à l'évènement en 2024

The International Performing Arts Biennial, a major event in the performing arts created in 2004, opened on January 21, 2026, at the Cité des Congrès in Nantes amid a tense political and budgetary climate. Numerous elected officials and public figures were in attendance, but Chrystelle Morancais, President of the Pays de la Loire region, was absent, having withdrawn her financial support for the event in 2024
