Nice, le 9 juin 2025, la cérémonie d'ouverture de lancement de l'UNOC-3 (conférence des Nations Unis pour les Océans) a rassemblé de nombreux chefs d'états, personnalités politiques, scientifiques et économiques, pour réflechir et agir en faveur de la protection des océans. Dans ce cadre, Ursula von der Leyen et Emmanuel Macron ont signé Le Pacte européen pour l'Océan, promettant enveloppe d'1milliard d'euros pour financer 50 projets :préserver la biodiversité des océans, promouvoir la croissance économique et bâtir une alliance mondiale sur les océans.

In Nice on 9 June 2025, the opening ceremony for the launch of UNOC-3 (United Nations Conference on the Oceans) brought together many heads of state, politicians, scientists and business leaders to discuss and take action to protect the oceans. Ursula von der Leyen and Emmanuel Macron signed the European Ocean Pact, pledging €1 billion to finance 50 projects: preserving ocean biodiversity, promoting economic growth and building a global alliance on the oceans.
