Le marseillais ARNAUD JERALD, plonge à 115 mètres lors du Championnat du Monde d'Apnée AIDA 2019
A seulement 23 ans, Arnaud Jerald a battu le record du monde d'apnée à poids constant bi-palmes en descendant à 115 mètres ce vendredi 13 septembre 2019, au mondial d'apnée de Villefranche-sur-Mer. Arnaud JERALD se positionne déja , avec son ami Abdelatif ALOUACH de la Team France, comme le digne dauphin du célèbre Guillaume NERY.
Depuis l'age de 7 ans, Arnaud JERALD pratique l'apnée avec son père qui l'a éduqué à la chasse sous-marine dans les calanques de Marseille.
L'apnéiste marseillais reconnaît que sa discipline a un côté mystique, chargée d'imaginaire, la plupart du temps inspirée du film de Luc Besson, "Le Grand Bleu".

At only 23 years old, Arnaud Jerald broke the world record for double-bladed constant weight apnea by dropping to 115 meters this Friday, September 13, 2019, at the world freediving event in Villefranche-sur-Mer. Arnaud JERALD is already positioning himself, with his friend Abdelatif ALOUACH of Team France, as the worthy runner-up of the famous Guillaume NERY.
Since the age of 7, Arnaud JERALD has been snorkeling with his father who taught him underwater hunting in the calanques of Marseille.
The apneist from Marseille acknowledges that his discipline has a mystical side, full of imagination, most of the time inspired by Luc Besson's film, "Le Grand Bleu".
