Sauvons les Gohards
Sauvons les Gohards s’est lancé à l’été 2022 pour s’opposer au projet d’urbanisation de Doulon-Gohards porté par Nantes métropole, prévoyant l’artificialisation de 25 hectares de terres maraîchères et naturelles, pour construire des logements, sans même prendre en compte les 350 personnes vivant en bidonvilles dans le même quartier.
Le collectif, constitué en association de loi 1901, est composé d’habitantes et habitants du quartier, d’associations et d’organisations politiques, écologistes, et sociales.
Sauvons les Gohards mène la bataille sur plusieurs terrains. Le terrain juridique avec des recours contre le permis de construire et surtout contre l’autorisation environnementale. Et sur le terrain de la mobilisation des habitant-es du Vieux Doulon, de Nantes et au-delà.

Sauvons les Gohards was launched in the summer of 2022 to oppose the Doulon-Gohards urban development project being promoted by Nantes Métropole, which involves the development of 25 hectares of market garden and natural land to build housing, without even taking into account the 350 people living in shanty towns in the same neighbourhood.
The collective, set up as an association under the 1901 Act, is made up of local residents, associations and political, environmental and social organisations.
Sauvons les Gohards is leading the battle on several fronts. On the legal front, with appeals against the planning permission and, above all, against the environmental permit. And on the ground of mobilising the residents of Vieux Doulon, Nantes and beyond.
