Basse et percussions en live viennent soutenir l?intention et sublimer la chorégraphie? inévitablement, la magie opère.
FRANCE - FLAMENCO NIMES FESTIVAL 2024 - OLGA PERICET
For this 2nd part of the trilogy inspired by musician Antonio de Torres, the choreographer calls on the talent of award-winning dancer Daniel Abreu. At once wild and fragile, feminine and masculine, the dance of Olga Pericet, trained by today's greatest flamenco dancers, combines bolero, classical combinations and contemporary currents. Her perfect technical mastery is matched by an incandescent presence and inventive gesture, always in harmony with the themes she tackles. In 2018, she was awarded Spain's National Dance Prize in the interpretation category. Her trilogy, the first part of which, La Leona, was presented in Seville in 2022, is dedicated to Antonio de Torres, the famous Seville musician and luthier, founding father of the modern Spanish guitar in 1852. For this second chapter, La Materia, she collaborates and shares the stage with Daniel Abreu, Prix National de Danse in 2014, creation category. Live bass and percussion support the intention and sublimate the choreography... inevitably, the magic happens.
