OVER 200 FOREIGN TEENAGERS OCCUPY AN ABANDONED SCHOOL IN PARIS
For more than three months, hundreds of foreign and isolated teenagers have been wandering the streets of Paris, facing cold, hunger, police harassment and the destruction of their material goods. For the first time in several years, it is impossible for the associations to gather these young people in the same place, because as soon as they settle down, they are immediately dislodged by the police, without any other solution being proposed to them.
It is in this context that associations, supporters and young people seize the opportunity of an unoccupied place with no project (property of the Paris City Council), to demonstrate under cover and to ask for a multidisciplinary accompaniment of these young people, adapted to their individual situations and in stable accommodation in Ile-de-France.
