Julian Busch est un photographe allemand qui vit à Kaboul, en Afghanistan. Né à Hambourg, il a étudié les études islamiques à Hambourg et la photographie documentaire et le photojournalisme à l'université de Hanovre.
Avant de s'installer à Kaboul, en Afghanistan, en 2022, il a été basé pendant trois ans sur l'île de Lesvos, où il a couvert les migrations vers l'Europe.  
Il travaille régulièrement en mission pour DER SPIEGEL, DIE ZEIT, stern et Guardian. En outre, son travail a été présenté dans Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin, Al jazeera, taz am Wochenende, profile.
Il a rejoint Hans Lucas en 2021. Il parle anglais, et a des compétences de base en farsi/dari.
Julian Busch is a German photographer living in Kabul, Afghanistan. Born in Hamburg, he studied Islamic studies in Hamburg and documentary photography and photojournalism at the University of Hannover.
Before moving to Kabul, Afghanistan, in 2022, he was based for three years on the island of Lesvos, where he covered migration to Europe.  
He works regularly on assignment for DER SPIEGEL, DIE ZEIT, stern and Guardian. In addition, his work has been featured in Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin, Al jazeera, taz am Wochenende, profile.
He joined Hans Lucas in 2021. He speaks English, and has basic skills in Farsi/Dari.
