Acte 2 : La Conjuration des jardins
Une fois de plus des acteurs de la culture se mobilisent. Dès l'aurore ils se sont mis en mouvement pour dire "adieu" à la culture tel qu'elle était avant la covid.
Réuni.e.s dès 4h30, pour reprendre une dernière fois ensemble et finaliser leur représentation, ces artistes ont ensuite pris la direction du centre-ville de Besançon pour exprimer leur art. Le spectacle était prévu pour 6h, heure de la levée du couvre-feu.
C'est l'acte 2 de la « Conjuration des jardins ».
L'acte 1 s'était déroulé place de la Révolution, juste après la fin du premier confinement, le 26 mai 2020.
« Et à l'aurore, armés d'une ardente patience, nous entrerons aux splendides villes. »
Ces quelques mots d'Arthur Rimbaud ont inspiré la mise en scène de cette déambulation, restée secrète jusqu'à la dernière minute.
Toutes et tous vêtu.e.s de noir et poudré.e.s de farine, pour évoquer la mise au placard des costumes, le groupe déambulera, d'un pas extrêmement lent et coordonné au rythme d'un chant ininterrompu et résonnant.
Un fauteuil de théâtre sera transporté et un porteur de feu viendra, à la fin de cette lente marche, y déposer son brasier.
Derrière cet acte poétique c'est « la Mort du Théâtre » d'avant qui est célébré et enterré. Mais aussi la naissance de quelque chose de nouveau. Dans l'espoir de retrouver « des lendemains qui chantent ! »
Une action de rue émotionnellement, visuellement et théâtralement, forte et politiquement ortientée, à l'heure où tout va être bouclé une nouvelle fois.
Act 2 : La conjuration des jardins
Once again, cultural actors are mobilising. At dawn they set off to say goodbye to culture as it was before covid.
Meeting at 4.30 am, to perform together one last time and finalise their performance, these artists then headed to the city centre of Besançon to express their art. The show was scheduled for 6am, the time when the curfew was lifted.
This is act 2 of the "Conjuration of the gardens".
Act 1 took place on the Place de la Révolution, just after the end of the first confinement, on 26 May 2020.
"And at dawn, armed with ardent patience, we shall enter the splendid cities. "
These few words of Arthur Rimbaud inspired the staging of this walk, which remained secret until the last minute.
All dressed in black and powdered with flour, to evoke the retirement of costumes, the group will stroll, at an extremely slow pace and coordinated to the rhythm of an uninterrupted and resonant song.
A theatre chair will be transported and a fire carrier will come at the end of this slow walk to place his brazier on it.
Behind this poetic act it is the "Death of the Theatre" from before that is celebrated and buried. But also the birth of something new. In the hope of finding "a brighter tomorrow! "
An emotionally, visually and theatrically strong street action at a time when everything is about to be closed down once again.
