Le Béhourd : retour au médiéval
La Fédération française de béhourd organisait son premier tournoi officiel à Parthenay, ville médiévale fortifiée des Deux-Sèvres en Nouvelle Aquitaine.
Cette pratique de combats médiévaux compte 300 licienciés en France. Le but des combattants : mettre à terre l'équipe adverse. Presque que tous les coups sont permis, avec armures et armes médiévales. Les combattants portent jusqu'à 35 kilos sur les épaules et rendent les combats physiques et éprouvants.

The French Behourd Federation organized its first official tournament in Parthenay, a medieval fortified town in the Deux-Sèvres region of New Aquitaine.
This practice of medieval fighting has 300 licensees in France. The goal of the fighters: to take down the opposing team. Almost no holds barred, with medieval armour and weapons. The fighters carry up to 35 kilos on their shoulders and make the fighting physical and strenuous.
