Détroit au sud du Sénégal, frontalier avec la Gambie. Il compte près de 200 îles recouvertes de mangroves, de sables, de palétuviers et baobabs. Un vrais dédale d?îles où sont caché de nombreux villages habités par les Sérères, un peuple d?afrique de l?ouest vivant entre la région de Dakar et la Gambie. De par ses paysages fantastiques, le Sine Saloum attire chaque année un nombre important de touriste.

Strait in the south of Senegal, bordering the Gambia. It has nearly 200 islands covered with mangroves, sands, and baobabs. A real maze of islands where many villages inhabited by the Sérères, a western African ethnie living between the Dakar region and the Gambia. Due to its fantastic landscapes, the Sine Saloum attracts a significant number of tourists every year.
