TESTS RAPIDES ANTIGENIQUES
Le test antigenique permet de detecter les antigenes que produit le virus SARS-CoV-2. Il cherche a determiner si la personne est infectee au moment du test. Ce test est destine a une simple orientation diagnostique et ne remplace pas un diagnostic etabli a partir d un test RT-PCR permettant de determiner la presence du genome du SARS-CoV-2. Comme le test RT-PCR, il consiste en un prelevement par voie nasale avec un ecouvillon.
Avec un resultat disponible en 15 a 30 minutes, ces tests permettent la mise en oeuvre sans delai des mesures d isolement et de contact tracing.
RAPID ANTIGENIC TESTS
The antigen test detects the antigen produced by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. It seeks to determine whether the person is infected at the time of testing. This test is intended for diagnostic guidance only and does not replace a diagnosis based on an RT-PCR test to determine the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 genome. Like the RT-PCR test, it consists of a nasal swab.
With a result available in 15 to 30 minutes, these tests allow the implementation of isolation and contact tracing measures without delay.
