Un essai photographique sur l ancienne communaute tribale d Irular. La communaute indigene traditionnelle Irular habite a Pazhaveli, un petit hameau pres de Chengalpattu, a environ 80 kilometres de Chennai. Les tribus vivent dans des maisons faites de briques et de paille a flanc de colline. Ils subviennent a leurs besoins en vendant du bois de chauffage, en s occupant de l agriculture et de la peche. The traditional indigenous Irular Community dwells in Pazhaveli, a tiny hamlet near Chengalpattu, some 80 kilometres from Chennai. The tribes live in homes made of bricks and straws on a hillside. They support themselves by selling firewood, caring for agriculture, and fishing. They do not have land ownership despite having lived there for more than a century.
