L'abbaye Saint-Pierre de Moissac
C'est l'un des rares cloîtres qui a conservé sa sculpture intacte, malgré les affres du temps. Il est particulièrement remarquable par la richesse et la variété de ses 76 chapiteaux sculptés.
Le portail de l'abbatiale et son tympan constituent un autre ensemble exceptionnel de cette sculpture médiévale du XIIe siècle. Ce dernier illustre le chapitre IV de l'Apocalypse selon Saint Jean.
Le cloître et le tympan de l'abbatiale - chef d'oeuvre de l'art roman - sont inscrits au Patrimoine Mondial de l'UNESCO au titre des Chemins de Saint Jacques de Compostelle.

The cloister and tympanum of the abbey church - a masterpiece of Romanesque art - are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Pilgrimage Route to Santiago de Compostela.
