Samedi 29 aout 2020, Toronto. Plusieurs milliers de manifestants ont marché dans une nouvelle marche pour le definancement de la police de Christie Pitts jusqu'au quartier général de la police de Toronto. Une action nationale organisée par les deux groupes activistes antiracistes BIPOC revolution et Not another black life.

"We demand our basic human right to live peacefully with the equitable opportunity to live our best lives, take care of our families and support our communities." a spokesperson says. "Without the removal of the laws of colonialism, the liberation of Black, Indigenous and People of Colour will cease to exist. Invest in people, not police. Reallocation Committees will ensure funding divested from police forces will be reallocated back to community-based initiatives."

Saturday 2020.08.29. Few thousands of protesters took the streets in a new Defund the police march from Christie Pitts to Toronto Police headquarters in Toronto. A nationwide action organized by the two anti racism grassroots Bipoc revolution and Not another black life.
