Escape, forget, enjoy!
Going to the nature, a desire for many.
My girlfriend and I took the plunge, destination Grenoble, with the aim of forgetting a complicated year in all its aspects: stress of telecommuting, stress of covid, stress of health problems...
The city is stifling, 36°C, no wind, the Grenoble basin is not a moth. Then we leave, the mountain, the small villages, the small rivers. Of the hike, finally sometimes it is more of the balance but at the same time we juggle at the moment.
A complicated year with family problems and we are in the middle of it. The mother of my partner is seriously ill so we take advantage of the moment, the time, to escape... Swimming in the vats in Sassenage, before we would never have done it. Escapade in steep paths the same. In front of the waterfalls, we enjoy, we escape, we imagine the time to stop and not to see the frantic rhythm of this period.
The Bastille is nice but in fact we are both afraid, especially me in real I have the vertigo. Then we go up on foot, we go down on foot, we admire the view, we admire the cable car and we say to ourselves that it is more beautiful of the outside as if we could just see the things spinning without touching us.
Then we go back down, we will return having these clichés, these moments in head where the time it is stopped, spared us a little.
