Six militantes FEMEN se sont rendues devant le tribunal de Paris le jeudi 13 septembre 2018 pour manifester leur soutien envers l?artiste russe Piotr Pavlenski, incarcéré depuis bientôt un an en France, dont le procès se tient ce jour. La bouche cousue, en hommage à l?une de ses célèbres actions, les six activistes ont dénoncé la répression disproportionnée menée par l?état Français envers Piotr Pavlenski ainsi que la volonté de museler son discours militant et de nier sa liberté d?expression. Sur leur torse, sont peint les slogans FREE PAVLENSKI, ART IS NOT CRIMINAL, ACTIVISM IS NOT A DISEASE et STOP SILENCING DEMOCRACY.

Six FEMEN activists protested in front of Paris court Thursday, September 13, 2018 to show their support for Russian artist Petr Pavlensky, imprisoned for almost a year in France. Their mouths were sewn in tribute to one of his famous actions. The activists denounced the French government's disproportionate repression of Petr Pavlensky as well as the denial of his militant speech and freedom of expression. Slogans such as FREE PAVLENSKI, ART IS NOT CRIMINAL, ACTIVISM IS NOT A DISEASE et STOP SILENCING DEMOCRACY were painted on their torso.
